Get Ready to Hit the Ice!
Exciting news, skaters! Open skates are almost here, and we want to make sure you're ready to glide into the fun as smoothly as possible.
New Open Skate Season Pass Purchase Process
To help eliminate long lines and make buying your season pass a breeze, we're introducing a new process this year. Here's what you need to know:
1. RecDesk Account is a MUST!
New to Elyria Parks and Rec? Before you can purchase your season pass, you'll need to create a RecDesk account. It's quick and easy! Just follow these steps:
- Visit https://www.cityofelyria.org/department/parks-and-recreation/
- Click on "Register Online"
- Click on "Create Account"
- Create your account :)
2. Don't Forget Your Voucher!
To get your discounted season pass rate, you must present a physical voucher from the Elyria Ice Hockey Club at the time of purchase. No vouchers, no discount! (And please, no screenshots - we need the original.) See Kyle, AJ, or Alexis to purchase, or let your team manager know and we'll get them to you!
Voucher Expiration: Your voucher is valid for the discounted rate until 1/31/25. Don't miss out!
Season Pass Purchase Period: You can purchase your season pass from now until January 31, 2025.
4. Head of the Household:
The adult purchasing the pass needs to be the "Head of Household" in the RecDesk account and can then add family members.
5. Check-In is Key:
Even with a season pass, remember to check in at the rink after practices and before open skate sessions to get your wristband.
Season Pass Details
Regular Cost: $40.00 (This price is for both youth and adult passes!)
Your Cost Through The Club: $20.00
No Residency Fee: Everyone pays the same low price.
Steak Fry Fundraiser - SAVE THE DATE!
Sizzle! Our annual Steak Fry is happening on Saturday, November 9th, and you don't want to miss out on the fun! Join us for an amazing evening of delicious food, great company, and a chance to support the Elyria Ice Hockey Club.

5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
St. Mary's Hall, Elyria
Your $50 ticket includes:
- Entry into the $2,500 raffle!
- Delicious steak dinner
- Unlimited beer and wash
- DJ and dancing
- Late-night pizza
- Plus: Raffle basket table, side boards, and a big ticket table with incredible prizes!
Can't make it? You can still support the Elyria Ice Hockey Club by purchasing a $25 non-attending raffle ticket. This ticket gets you in the $2500 raffle! Want a couple extra chances to win?

Attention all Mite through High School players: Please remember to use the locker rooms to get ready for practices and games. If you are using the lobby area, please be sure to clean up your bags and keep the space neat and tidy for everyone.
Spectator Policy Reminder
Mite through High School parents, please take note: The updated Code of Conduct with the new Spectator Policy has been uploaded to Crossbar. Please review and sign off on this important document as soon as possible.
